Today, we’re premiering London producer Blacksmif‘s avant-garde visual piece for “How the Fly Saved the River.” Directed by video artist Markus Lehtonen, the clip shows computerized, aquatic landscapes transforming into glacial ice crystals that eventually melt together into an aqueous feminine formation. “How the Fly Saved the River”—which Brighton-based imprint Blah Blah Blah recently released—offers heavy doses of low-end frequencies and simmering, dancefloor-ready rhythms along with some requisite vocal samples. The whole package is unquestionably captivating, and marks the artist born Yemi Olagbaiye as a producer to watch this year, especially seeing as how he recently graced Boiler Room and will soon release another single with Jabru via Paradise Club on March 11.
