Warp stalwart and IDM innovator Squarepusher has just put out a video for “Dark Steering,” a track taken from his forthcoming Ufalbulum LP that features visuals Tom Jenkinson created himself for his current live show. The audio/visual performance could be described as a high-definition blend between Daft Punk’s famous pyramid setup, Amon Tobin’s recent ISAM tour, and maybe a little bit of F-Zero. The breakdown at the three-and-a-half-minute mark is really something to behold. Make sure to take a look at the tour dates listed below so you know where catch Squarepusher’s new setup IRL, and keep your eyes peeled for the new album, which drops via Warp on May 14 in Europe and on May 15 in the US.
