Pianist and composer Nils Frahm appears in the most recent edition of Resident Advisor‘s RA Sessions series. The Berlin-based artist has released more than a dozen albums since 2005, though it was last year’s Spaces LP for UK label Erased Tapes—compiled from live recordings made over a two-year stretch—that brought him to wide acclaim. In his recent studio session in London, Frahm gives a live performance of two brand-new songs, “All Melody” and “#2,” and makes use of Fender Rhodes keyboard as well as a Juno synth, drum machine, and tape delay. The full performance, which falls “somewhere between electronic music and classical,” can be viewed below, where Frahm’s upcoming North American tour dates have also been included.
