Alfie Granger-Howell and Nick Harriman of Dusky have shared a new video for “Yoohoo,” the lead track on their forthcoming single for 17 Steps. Directed by Charlie Robins and animated by Lewis Kyle White, the video is said to evoke the “halcyon days of early ’90s rave,” giving an aesthetic nod to some of the era’s iconic flyers and drawing on the London duo’s proclaimed affection for classic house and techno. Premiering via Fader, the video for “Yoohoo” creates “a cosmic, computerized, and Tron-like landscape, taking it on a nostalgic, misty-eyed journey through memorable imagery from a defining time in the UK’s electronic music culture.”

Dusky (who recently detailed some key techniques in producing precise, club-ready tracks for XLR8R) has also announced a tour of the UK and Ireland to kick off the new year. Dates have been listed below, where the video for “Yoohoo” can be watched in full. The pair’s “Yoohoo” b/w “Akebono” single, meanwhile, will be released on November 23.
