Though the track itself appeared as a stream this past fall to tease Julio Bashmore’s as-yet-undetailed debut album, the Jessie Ware-featuring “Peppermint” single has reappeared today as a strange and impeccably crafted music video. The piece was directed by Noah Harris, who spoke with Thump about his work, saying, “It’s about evolution… It starts with a piece of graphic design, rigidly animated to the track, and this then evolves into three dimensions; the amoeba becoming a sentient graphic form, a constant process of evolution around the same visual themes.”

Though we currently have no information about Julio Bashmore’s forthcoming LP, we do know that “Peppermint (feat. Jessie Ware)” will drop on February 23 via the DJ/producer’s own Broadwalk label. The track’s new video can be seen below.
