Shortly following the release of Axioms, a limited-edition compilation on Houndstooth, Ross Tones (a.k.a. Throwing Snow) has unveiled a teaser video for his new live show. Soundtracked by “Lumen,” a track that was reportedly “built for the summer, yet seen through a wintery prism,” the video uses shifting, day-glo patterns to hypnotic effect. “We’ve got simple geometric shapes and designs that build on top of one another to create more complex structures and surfaces,” Tones explained to FACT for the premiere of the video, which was directed by Brendan Bennett. “We then get to fly through those structures in 3D space which creates the hypnotic vortexes and tunnels.” Watch it in full below.
