Following the release of its XLR8R Pick’d eponymous debut LP last year, London trio Factory Floor‘s own Nik Void and Dan Tombs have crafted a minimalist video to accompany their latest single “How You Say.” The piece features a stationary shot of a TV showing black-and-white footage of vocalist Void singing and bopping her head to the rhythm as various colors and stripes are projected on the blank backdrop. The clashing movements featured in the video accent the popping percussion, palpitating synth, and repetitive vocals that pulsate throughout the whole of the tune.

Factory Floor’s new video release arrives just before it launches a series of remix EPs for DFA, all featuring versions of “How You Say” from the likes of Invisible Conga People, Gunnar Haslam, Bookworms, Helena Hauff, and Daniel Avery—whose take on the motorik tune can be heard here, where the details of Factory Floor’s current North American tour can also be found. All of the info for those digital and 12″ releases is available below, where the meta “How You Say” video can be watched in full.
