Anchorsong has just revealed details of a new digital single titled "Expo" that is set to drop on April 29 via the Brighton-based music label Tru Thoughts.
Currently living in London, Anchorsong recently released his warm, rhythmic, and uplifting sophomore LP, Ceremonial, an eleven-track album which is heavily influenced by music that came out of Africa in the seventies, as well as the album Vodoun Effect by Orchestre Poly-Rythmo—which Anchorsong found at his local record shop. Coinciding with his upcoming performances at Low End Theory and Further Future Festival, Anchorsong is set to release "Expo," the second track from his LP, as a digital single alongside three bonus cuts.
You can watch a live session video performance of "Expo," which was recorded at Red Bull's Tokyo studios, in the player above.
