Berlin techno mainstay Marcel Dettmann has coupled with director Parker Ellerman in a short film soundtracked by the dark, semi-ambient ”Seduction,” featuring Emika on vocals. ”Seduction” initially appeared on Dettmann’s most recent full-length, II, which was released via Ostgut Ton last year. But in April, the Berghain resident announced plans for a forthcoming EP centered around the track, which will include reworks by fellow Ostgut affiliates Anthony Parasole, Ryan Elliott, and Dettmann’s partnership with Shed as Deuce.

The accompanying black and white film short, which clocks in at around nine minutes and can be watched in full below, is described as an homage to the German expressionist movies of the 1920s, and tells ”a rather dark, twisted story about lust, fetish, loss of control, fear, and madness—reflecting all the elements and moods that can be found in Dettmann’s music.”
