It’s admittedly a bit strange that the latest music video to arrive from The Knife‘s masterful Shaking the Habitual album is for the beatless, nearly nine-minute dirge “A Cherry on Top,” but then again, pretty much everything about the Swedish duo and its new LP could be called strange—this piece is no exception. Maybe “music video” is too strong of a term for this clip; let’s call it a visualizer for one of Shaking the Habitual‘s numerous standout tracks.
