Is there a label around that could do a better job showcasing the burgeoning electronic scene of Argentina’s capital city than ZZK? No, and that’s why they are the only imprint we’d trust to put together a compilation called Future Sound of Buenos Aires. The forthcoming collection, which is being released in collaboration with Waxploitation, is said to showcase the kind of music ZZK has championed since its inception, Latin hybrids that fuse “classic rural South American style with electronic futurism,” and will feature appearances from some of the scene’s most familiar names—including Chancha Via Circuito (pictured above), El Remolon, and Super Guachin. Future Sound of Buenos Aires won’t be available until May 1, but in the meantime, you can check out the artwork and tracklist, along with a substantially condensed streaming “teaser” of the release, below.
